We are seeking a skilled AWP Technician with 1-25 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of aerial work platforms (AWP) and will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is safe and operational. This role requires a detail-oriented technician who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of AWP equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in AWP machinery.
• Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts in AWP systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed on AWP equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule equipment availability and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while operating and servicing AWP equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and other technicians as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AWP Technician or similar role within the construction or equipment rental industry.
• In-depth knowledge of AWP equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other aerial work platforms.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to AWP operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving license and ability to operate AWP machinery.
