- Manage financial records for solar projects in Congo, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for solar energy projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Conduct regular audits and prepare reports for stakeholders, including investors and government entities.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and international financial reporting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial proposals and funding applications for solar projects.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project-based work; experience in renewable energy or solar projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations in Congo.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
