Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in Nigeria and Ghana.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the paper , printing or packaging related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of the paper industry, market dynamics, and customer needs in Nigeria and Ghana.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
